Beyond the 10 Weeks

Young people working together during a group activity.

The first 10 weeks help participants build practical skills, confidence, and a clearer sense of direction. After completing the program, those who want additional help preparing for college, trade school, or a career may have opportunities for continued mentorship and scheduled advising.

Depending on each participant’s goals and the availability of qualified volunteers, community partners, and Espyre resources, guidance may include:

  • Completing college or trade-school applications

  • Navigating FAFSA, scholarships, and financial aid

  • Exploring degree programs, skilled trades, workforce programs, and career pathways

  • Résumé development, interview preparation, and job-search assistance

  • Identifying job-training, career-exposure, and employment opportunities

  • Understanding education and employment benefits available to eligible foster youth

  • Continued encouragement and accountability as participants work toward their goals

The goal is not only to help participants explore their options during the program, but also to help them move forward with confidence—and with someone still in their corner.

Grow. Lead. Thrive.
